Dale Computers Sales & Services (DCSS) started as a home-based computer sale and service with on-site services. The business was located at 3410 Cody Drive, Memphis, Tn. 38115, however; because of the over-whelming community support, the home-based computer business outgrew its home-literally. The new location will (TBA), Memphis, Tn., will accommodate other services such as retail, web development, staging, more storage, open and a larger working environment. We pride ourselves with integrity, professionalism and quick, fast and in a hurry turn-a-round time.
Dale Computers Sales & Services is positioning itself in a very visible community atmosphere with approachability and accessibility for all.
Competition
There are three computer business that Dale Computers Sales & Services are competing with.
1. Office Equipment Services(OES)- currently operating with approxiamately 15-20 technicians with a large payroll of overhead. OES builds IBM compatiable clone system but the cost is forty to fifty percent higher that STS depending on the configuration.
2. Computer Warehouse- Fewer technicians than OES,however; the price of the IBM clone computers are approxiamately the same. The sales of the computers are up from the previous year but so is the overhead cost.
3. Southern Business System-(SBS)-This establishment is fairly new on the market and has become very poplar. Despite the overnight success, the cost of the PC’s is still forthy-percent higher than the same computer sold at STS. One main reason is because the labor rates are higher.
